The She-Empowers Initiative has paid a courtesy and partnership visit to the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation (WAKF) as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration and explore areas of mutual interest between the two organizations.
The visit followed earlier joint engagements at Lushi Ta Kwalollo community, where both organizations advocated for increased enrollment of girls into the formal education system and community support for girl-child education initiatives.
Speaking during the visit, the Team Lead of the She-Empowers Initiative, Mr. Glory Dadi, stated that the purpose of the engagement was to build on the existing relationship established during the Lushi Ta Kwalollo advocacy visit and to further deepen collaboration between the organizations.

According to him, the visit was also aimed at identifying possible areas of partnership capable of advancing shared goals in education, community development, empowerment, and humanitarian interventions.
In his remarks, the Director of Programs at WAKF, Mustapha Ango, welcomed the delegation and appreciated the Initiative for the visit and its commitment toward community-focused development activities. He noted that the Foundation remains open to strategic partnerships and collaborations that align with its vision and programmes.
He further assured the visiting team of the Foundation’s willingness to explore areas of alignment and cooperation capable of creating sustainable impact within communities.
Also speaking during the engagement, the Foundation’s Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Abubakar Mohammed Yanmaza, emphasized the importance of exploring alternative funding opportunities through grants and donor partnerships to support future collaborative interventions.

He encouraged both organizations to leverage development partnerships and donor opportunities that align with their shared objectives in education, empowerment, and community development.
The meeting concluded with discussions on potential partnership areas, future engagements, and strategies for strengthening collaboration toward impactful and sustainable community interventions.
