Wunti Al-Khair Foundation participated in the STEMist Advocacy Program on Gender and Education, an initiative aimed at promoting gender inclusion and equitable access to education, particularly in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

The Foundation was represented by the State Coordinator of the EmpowerHer Initiative, who also serves as the Program Officer (Education) at Wunti Al-Khair Foundation, Miss Fatima Aliyu Adamu. Her participation reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to advancing girl-child education and addressing gender-based barriers to learning.

During the advocacy program, discussions focused on the importance of creating inclusive educational environments, encouraging girls’ participation in STEM-related fields, and strengthening community and institutional support systems that enable young women to thrive academically and professionally.

The STEMist Advocacy Program provided an important platform for stakeholders, educators, and development practitioners to exchange ideas and strengthen collective efforts toward gender-responsive education. Wunti Al-Khair Foundation’s participation aligns with its broader mission of promoting inclusive education and empowering young people, especially girls, to contribute meaningfully to national development.
