This week, a delegation from the Wunti International Academy School Advisory Committee, joined by staff from the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation, was received in audience at the Emir’s Palace by His Royal Highness, Alh. Dr. Rilwanu Adamu, the Emir of Bauchi.
The Chairman of the Advisory Committee, Alhaji Abdullahi Muhammad Inuwa, presented royal greetings and spoke on behalf of the delegation. He introduced the Academy to His Highness—a new school rising at B303 Wunti Street, opening this September—and explained what it has been built to achieve for the children of the community.

The Director of Programs for the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation, Ango Mustapha, presented the Foundation’s team to His Highness and introduced our Head of School, Hafiz Hawaldar. He then shared closer details about the Academy and explained how admission placements will be awarded.
His Royal Highness received the delegation with great warmth. He noted that the Academy stands in the home community of our Chairman, Dr. Bala Wunti, observing that a great man begins by building in his own community before reaching beyond it—and that this is precisely what Dr. Wunti has done. To the delight of the delegation, His Highness added that he counts himself as part of the Wunti community, too.

He gave his blessings to the Academy, its pupils, and its teachers, welcomed Mr. Hawaldar to the Emirate, assured the delegation that he is standing with the team, and expressed his deep appreciation for the initiative.
The Emir is the father and custodian of all who reside within this Emirate, and the children who will walk through our gates in September are his people first. To open with his blessing is to open with the confidence of the community we were built to serve.
We are deeply grateful to His Royal Highness for his time, his counsel, and his prayers. We carry them with us into September.
Our job is not done until every child is educated.
