The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation (WAKF), in collaboration with officials of the Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, has conducted a technical assessment visit to the proposed WAKF Inkil Hospital as part of ongoing efforts toward establishing a standard and sustainable healthcare facility in Bauchi State.
The delegation from the Agency was led by its Director alongside other technical officials who visited the proposed hospital site to provide professional guidance and technical recommendations on facility development and operational planning.
During the visit, the officials assessed the proposed structure and advised the Foundation on key healthcare facility requirements including hospital setup standards, operational procedures, regulatory considerations, and healthcare service delivery expectations.
The team also provided recommendations on possible Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models that could support the sustainability and effective management of the proposed hospital project.
Discussions further covered healthcare waste management systems, environmental safety measures, patient care standards, facility organization, and compliance with acceptable healthcare operational guidelines.
Officials of the Agency emphasized the importance of proper planning, adherence to healthcare regulations, and the establishment of effective operational systems capable of supporting quality healthcare delivery within the community.
Representatives of the Foundation appreciated the technical support and guidance provided by the Agency, noting that the recommendations would contribute significantly toward the successful planning and implementation of the proposed healthcare facility.
The technical visit formed part of broader consultations and stakeholder engagements being undertaken by the Foundation to ensure that the proposed WAKF Inkil Hospital meets required standards and effectively responds to the healthcare needs of the community.
