The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation (WAKF) has reaffirmed its commitment to education development and youth empowerment through its co-sponsorship and active participation in the 5th Annual Bauchi Spelling Bee Competition 2025, which was successfully held from 3rd to 4th January, 2026 at the ASUP Secretariat Hall, ATAPoly, Bauchi.
The competition brought together brilliant students from public schools, private schools, and homeschooled backgrounds across the 20 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State, providing an inclusive platform to promote literacy, confidence, and academic excellence among young learners.
Designed to accommodate diverse learning levels, the competition was structured into four categories:
- Primary Category
- Junior Category
- Senior Secondary Category
- Homeschooled Category
Through this structure, students were able to compete fairly within their educational levels, ensuring equal opportunity for talent discovery and intellectual growth.

The event also featured enthusiastic audience participation, academic mentoring sessions, and recognition of teachers and parents whose efforts contributed to the students’ success.
