In a significant move to bolster its technological empowerment initiatives, the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation (WKF) has held a high-level virtual exploratory meeting with RLabs Nigeria, a social impact enterprise renowned for its innovative approach to solving social problems.
The meeting, which focused on potential collaboration, centered on leveraging RLabs’ extensive international experience and digital platforms to create transformative opportunities for Bauchi youth.
Discussions highlighted RLabs’ impressive global footprint, with operations in 25 countries, and its proven model of using technology to address deep-rooted social challenges. This aligns perfectly with Wunti Al-Khair Foundation’s core mission of empowering communities through education and economic development.
A key point of interest for WAKF was RLabs’ offering on the YOMA (Youth Agency Marketplace) platform. YOMA provides access to cutting-edge, accredited three-year degree programs in high-demand fields such as Cybersecurity, Robotics, and other digital vocations, many of which are supported by scholarships. This opportunity presents a pathway for Bauchi youth to gain continentally recognized qualifications at no financial costs.
Furthermore, RLabs’ expertise in job readiness and career development training was identified as a critical component for ensuring the success of the Foundation’s beneficiaries. Their programs are designed to equip learners not just with technical skills, but with the soft skills and career navigation tools needed to thrive in the modern workforce.
The talks culminated in a concrete plan for collaboration. RLabs Nigeria will become a key partner in the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation’s upcoming “Skills for Employability” program. This partnership will integrate RLabs’ world-class digital curriculum, scholarship opportunities via YOMA, and career training modules into the Foundation’s initiative, dramatically expanding its scope and impact.
