The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation’s EmpowerHer Initiative, a program dedicated to bridging the gender gap in technology, leadership, and entrepreneurship, recently highlighted the importance of creativity and innovation through a compelling review of Austin Kleon’s acclaimed book, “Still Like an Artist”.
The initiative’s focus on fostering a new generation of confident and skilled female leaders aligns perfectly with the book’s core message of embracing originality through inspiration and continuous learning.
“Still Like an Artist,” a book that encourages readers to embrace their creative journey by drawing inspiration from existing works, resonates deeply with the EmpowerHer Initiative’s philosophy. The book champions the idea that creativity isn’t about inventing something entirely new, but rather about reimagining, combining, and building upon existing ideas. This perspective can be particularly empowering for young women venturing into fields like technology and entrepreneurship, where innovation often stems from adapting and improving upon established concepts.
By promoting resources like “Still Like an Artist,” the EmpowerHer Initiative reinforces its commitment to providing holistic support that extends beyond technical training. It encourages a mindset of continuous learning, creative exploration, and the confidence to contribute unique perspectives to their chosen fields. This strategic approach aims to not only equip young women with in-demand skills but also to cultivate the innovative spirit essential for future success.
