Wunti Al-Khair Foundation participated in the Bauchi @50 Celebration organized by the Northern Youth Alliance for Peace and Development (NYAPD), held under the theme “Reflecting on the Past, Shaping the Next 50 Years.” The event brought together key stakeholders to reflect on Bauchi State’s journey over the past five decades and chart a progressive path for the future.
The program commenced with opening remarks by the Convener of the Bauchi @50 Celebration and Chairman of NYAPD, Comrade Najeeb Mu’azu Abubakar, who emphasized the role of youths, civil society organizations, and community leaders in sustaining peace and driving development across the state.
The celebration attracted the presence of government officials, traditional rulers, youth leaders, and civil society actors, underscoring the significance of collective reflection and collaboration in shaping Bauchi’s future.
A major highlight of the event was the presentation of an Award of Excellence to Wunti Al-Khair Foundation in recognition of its outstanding contributions to education, youth empowerment, and community development in Bauchi State. The award acknowledged the Foundation’s sustained efforts in promoting inclusive development and supporting grassroots initiatives that positively impact lives.
