The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation has intensified efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery in Bauchi State with a strategic visit to the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Agency, as part of plans to operationalize the proposed Wunti Al-Khair Community Hospital in Inkil.
The visit forms part of the foundation’s broader initiative to engage key stakeholders, including government institutions and international non-governmental organizations, in mobilizing support for the successful take-off of the health facility.

The foundation’s delegation, led by the Director of Programs, Ango Mustapha, included the Health Officer and other officials. They outlined the vision behind the proposed hospital, emphasizing its role in improving access to quality healthcare services for communities in Inkil and surrounding areas.
Receiving the delegation, the Executive Chairman of the agency, Dr. Rilwanu Muhammad, welcomed the initiative and commended the foundation’s commitment to strengthening the health sector.
Dr. Muhammad assured the foundation of the agency’s readiness to collaborate in supporting the facility, noting that the agency would also facilitate linkages with relevant development partners in the healthcare space to enhance the hospital’s operational capacity.

He further emphasized the importance of partnerships in expanding primary healthcare services and improving health outcomes, particularly in underserved communities.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties expressing commitment to sustained engagement aimed at ensuring the successful establishment and operation of the Wunti Al-Khair Community Hospital, a project expected to significantly boost healthcare access in the region.
