The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation has participated in the official launch of the SightQuest Nigeria Programme in Bauchi State, marking a significant step toward improving access to eye care services for vulnerable populations.
The ambitious initiative, spearheaded by CMB in collaboration with the Albasar International Foundation, is a 10-year programme designed to eradicate avoidable blindness and promote inclusive eye health across 14 states in Nigeria by the year 2035.

SightQuest Nigeria aims to reach over 600,000 underserved individuals through a wide range of free eye care services. These include comprehensive eye screenings, medical treatments, sight-restoring surgeries, and the provision of prescription spectacles, particularly targeting those who lack access to quality healthcare.
The launch event brought together key stakeholders in the health sector, development partners, and community leaders, all united in the shared goal of eliminating avoidable blindness and ensuring that no one is left behind in accessing essential eye care services.
