Bauchi, Nigeria – April 2, 2026
The management of Globe FM Bauchi has called for stronger collaboration with the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation aimed at enhancing community development outreach and amplifying humanitarian impact across Bauchi State.
The call was made during a courtesy visit to the foundation, where the Managing Director of Globe FM emphasized the critical role of the media in showcasing developmental activities and ensuring that the public is aware of ongoing interventions and how to benefit from them.

According to the Managing Director, a strengthened partnership would enable wider coverage of the foundation’s programs, thereby increasing public engagement and visibility of its humanitarian efforts.
During the visit, Globe FM also presented an award to the Chairman of the foundation in recognition of his contributions to humanitarian development and social support initiatives within the state.
As part of its community engagement plans, the radio station disclosed its ongoing educational outreach activities, which include facilitating excursions for primary, secondary, and tertiary students to its facilities. The station further proposed the development of a recreational space on its available land, including a mini park and a five-a-side football pitch, to promote fitness, discipline, and community engagement in an area currently lacking such amenities.

The proposed project, according to the station, is intended to serve as a hub for youth recreation and social interaction, while also fostering healthier lifestyles among residents.
Globe FM also expressed appreciation to the foundation for its consistent support during the Ramadan period, particularly its sponsorship of Tafsir sessions and distribution of food items, including rice, to support vulnerable households.
In response, the Director of Programs at the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation noted that the proposed initiatives align with the foundation’s community development objectives. He stated that the management would review the submitted proposal and communicate further once a decision has been made.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both institutions expressing optimism about a future partnership that would enhance media engagement, community development, and social impact across Bauchi State.
