The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation has celebrated the graduation of six trainees from the first cohort of its Vocational Skills Training Program (VSTP), marking a significant milestone in the Foundation’s commitment to youth empowerment and sustainable livelihood development.
The six graduates successfully completed a six-month intensive hands-on training in cotton making, window blind production, bedsheet tailoring, and duvet making. The program was designed to equip participants with practical, market-ready skills that enable them to establish small-scale enterprises or secure employment within the local textile and home furnishing industry.
A major highlight of the event was the formal presentation of certificates to the graduating trainees in recognition of their successful completion of the program. The certificate presentation symbolized not only academic accomplishment but also the readiness of the beneficiaries to transition into productive economic activities.
The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining and expanding the Vocational Skills Training Program to accommodate more beneficiaries in subsequent cohorts, thereby strengthening community development and advancing inclusive economic growth in Bauchi State.
