Officials of United Bank for Africa (UBA) paid a courtesy and engagement visit to Wunti Al-Khair Foundation to explore potential areas of collaboration, with particular focus on economic empowerment and enterprise development initiatives of the Foundation.
The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to discuss shared interests in supporting livelihoods, skills development, and small business growth within Bauchi State. UBA representatives expressed interest in partnering with the Foundation on programs that promote financial inclusion and sustainable economic opportunities for beneficiaries.
Receiving the delegation, the Director of Programs at Wunti Al-Khair Foundation, Mr. Ango Mustapha, warmly welcomed the bank officials and highlighted the Foundation’s commitment to empowering individuals and small businesses through practical, community-driven interventions.
Mr. Mustapha assured the UBA team of the Foundation’s readiness to collaborate, particularly on its Vocational Skills Training Program and the Bauchi Business Clinic, both of which are designed to equip beneficiaries with employable skills, business knowledge, and access to growth opportunities.
He noted that strategic partnerships with financial institutions such as UBA are essential for expanding the reach and impact of economic empowerment programs, especially through access to financial literacy, mentorship, and enterprise support.
