A women and youth-led organization, YAHIC, has initiated discussions with the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation to explore areas of collaboration aimed at advancing community development and social impact.
The visit, held on April 21, 2026 at the Foundation’s office, was part of YAHIC’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with like-minded organizations working across critical sectors. Representatives of YAHIC noted that the primary objective was to better understand the foundation’s work and identify shared priorities that could support joint interventions for societal growth.
During the meeting, YAHIC highlighted its core thematic areas, which include health, education, climate action, and empowerment. The organization outlined a range of initiatives it has implemented over the years, particularly in the health sector, where it conducts community outreaches, seminars, and awareness campaigns tied to global observances such as World AIDS Day and World Health Day. These engagements often include service delivery components, such as vaccination drives and awareness on diseases like hepatitis, HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria, with a focus on maternal and child health and nutrition.

Responding to the presentation, the foundation’s Human Resources representative expressed appreciation for YAHIC’s efforts and reaffirmed the foundation’s openness to partnerships. The representative noted that collaboration would be welcomed in areas that align with the foundation’s thematic focus, particularly initiatives that promote community development and social well-being.
Both parties concluded the meeting on a positive note, expressing optimism about future collaboration that could amplify their collective impact across communities.
