Wunti Al-Khair Foundation Strengthens Partnership with BASOVCA, Donates Relief Items to Orphanages in Bauchi

The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation has paid a visit to the headquarters of the Bauchi State Orphans and Vulnerable Children Agency (BASOVCA) and several orphanages in Bauchi as part of efforts to strengthen partnerships, support children’s welfare, and begin preparations for the forthcoming 1st October Independence Day celebration to be sponsored by the Foundation.

During the visit, the Foundation’s delegation met with BASOVCA officials to explore areas of collaboration in providing sustainable care for orphans and vulnerable children across the state. The discussions highlighted shared commitments to improving access to education, nutrition, healthcare, and psychosocial support for children in institutional care.

As part of the outreach, the Foundation donated food items and writing materials to orphanages, aimed at addressing both immediate nutritional needs and the academic development of the children.

Speaking at the event, representatives of Wunti Al-Khair Foundation reaffirmed the organization’s resolve to continually stand by disadvantaged groups in society. They further announced that the Foundation would sponsor the 1st October celebrations for orphans in Bauchi, ensuring the children also partake in the national day of pride and unity.

Officials of BASOVCA commended the Foundation for its consistent humanitarian interventions, describing the gesture as timely and impactful. Caregivers at the orphanages also expressed gratitude, noting that the donations and planned celebration would bring joy and a sense of belonging to the children.
