Wunti Al-Khair Foundation Participates at the Inaugural Bauchi Economic & Investment Summit

In what is being called a landmark event for the state’s economic future, the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation was at the maiden Bauchi Economic & Investment Summit, held October 8-9, 2025. The Summit, organized under Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed’s “My Bauchi Project” vision, brought together government officials, private sector investors (both local and international), civil society, and development partners. MoUs Signed & Outcomes

The Summit resulted in a flurry of agreements and pledges:

47 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between the Bauchi State Government and various local and international investors. (Thisdaylive)

The total investment commitments exceeded US$5.2 billion, with additional domestic investment in the hundreds of billions of naira. (The Nation Newspaper)

Some other deals include a US$2.7 billion agreement with China Fuhai Energy Group to build a Petrochemical City Complex in Bauchi. (Leadership News)
