In a significant humanitarian gesture aimed at alleviating hardship during the Maulud celebration, the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation has distributed over 2,000 bags of rice to groups and communities in Bauchi State.

The Foundation targeted its intervention to groups and communities in dire need, delivering 732 bags of rice to the Riyala group and a further 623 bags to Sha'irai singers. The donations are part of the Foundation's welfare outreach program designed to provide critical support to people.

The distribution event was witnessed by community leaders and members of Ulama. Volunteers from the Foundation worked diligently to ensure the process was orderly and that the aid reached the intended beneficiaries.

An official of the foundation, Mr. Isyaka Isma’il Wunti, emphasized the organization's commitment to practical compassion. "Our mission at Wunti Al-Khair is to extend a hand of support to our brothers and sisters when they need it most," he stated. "This donation of rice is not just about alleviating hunger for a day; it is about providing hope and letting these communities know that they are not forgotten. We believe that by supporting each other, we can build a stronger, more resilient society."

The state chairman of Riyala, on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed profound gratitude. "This is a life-saving intervention from the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation. The cost of foodstuff has become prohibitively high for many citizens. These bags of rice will provide sustenance for countless individuals and bring great relief during the celebration of Maulud. We are truly thankful for their generosity and kindness."

The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation has built a reputation for its targeted philanthropic activities across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and social welfare. This large-scale food donation underscores its proactive approach to addressing immediate community needs and fostering social solidarity.
