In a heartwarming display of commitment to youth empowerment and education, the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation (WAKF) has celebrated 16 exceptional beneficiaries of its 2025 JAMB Support Initiative, recognizing their outstanding performance in the just concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Out of 500 applicants sponsored by the Foundation under its educational support program, the 16 distinguished candidates—alongside the late Abubakar Yusuf, who was also among the top scorers—achieved scores of 200 and above, marking a milestone in the Foundation’s mission to nurture academic excellence among young Nigerians.

The Foundation announced that the 16 celebrated beneficiaries will now receive full tuition scholarships under the Bala Wunti Education Fund, enabling them to pursue their tertiary education without financial burden. This gesture, according to the Foundation, aims to sustain a continuous cycle of opportunity and excellence for young people from low-income families.

The JAMB Support Initiative is one of WAKF’s flagship educational programs, designed to empower underprivileged youths by sponsoring their JAMB registration, creating pathways for access to tertiary education.

With this year’s success story, the Foundation reaffirms its unwavering dedication to breaking barriers in education, nurturing talents, and investing in the future leaders of Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.
