Wunti Al-Khair Foundation Attends the Onboarding Session of the First Cohort of Mallam Zaki Fellowship

The officials of Wunti Al-Khair Foundation attended the graduation session of Mallam Zaki Fellowship on 6th Jan, 2025. An initiative by Katagum Youth League, the fellowship is designed to empower youth aged 18 to 25 across 20 local governments in Bauchi State - with skills in Leadership, Advocacy, Communication and Community Engagement.

The first cohort of the program consists of 12 selected fellows, referred to as Pioneers.

The central theme of the speaker series is cultural immersion, intensive leadership training and community service encapsulated by its motto: ‘Empowering Youth for National Development’.


The highlight of the events was key activities that include orientation session, speaker series, cultural immersion, community engagements/services and a dinner to honor the fellows for their achievements.


In his address,  the Director of Programs of Wunti Al-Khair Foundation Mr. Ango Mustapaha, shared experiences and activities of the Bala Wunti Tech Fellowship that started in 2024. The BWTF  identifies some technologically enthusiastic youths in Bauchi State to undergo a one year diploma program at Altschool Africa. Part of the one year fellowship experiences include an attendance of  Tech Event in Lagos, Soft Skills and Leadership Training (Bootcamp) in Abuja, monthly data stipend, monthly and monthly town hall meeting, among others.
