Wunti Al-Khair Foundation and Face Pam Explore Strategic Partnership in Bauchi

BAUCHI – The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation has initiated a strategic dialogue with the Bauchi-based non-governmental organization, Forward in Action for Education, Poverty and Malnutrition (Face Pam), to explore potential collaborative projects aimed at enhancing human development in the state. The meeting, which took place at the Face Pam board room on September 4, 2025, marks a significant step towards a potential new alliance between the two organizations.

The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation delegation was welcomed by the Face Pam team, led by its Acting Executive Director. During the session, Face Pam provided a comprehensive overview of its operations, outlining its vision for a transformed society with the capacity for sustainable development. The organization highlighted its mission to enhance human development through empowerment, education, and the reduction of poverty and malnutrition, all guided by core values of transparency, integrity, and social justice.

A key focus of the discussion was Face Pam's intervention projects. The organization reported on its success in the education sector, which includes establishing learning centers in Ningi LGA, providing skill acquisition training for adolescent youth, and introducing e-learning initiatives for women. In the health sector, Face Pam has been a leader in implementing stigma control and awareness programs for individuals living with HIV, alongside providing essential care and support services.

The meeting concluded with a series of key recommendations for future partnership. A consortium was proposed to secure unsolicited funding for a joint project, which would help build the profile of both organizations. Attendees also suggested that any future project proposal should be preceded by a rapid needs assessment and focus specifically on a category within primary or secondary education.

In a show of commitment to collaboration, Face Pam approved a practical monitoring and evaluation training for staff of the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation. The meeting concluded with an expectation that Wunti Al-Khair Foundation would provide a formal response to the proposed partnership areas in the coming days, signaling the next phase of this promising collaboration.
