In a significant move to support education, the Hope Rises as Foundation has fully sponsored the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration fees for 500 indigent students across 20 local government areas of Bauchi State. The gesture, announced today at a ceremony in Bauchi, is part of the Foundation’s "Education for All" campaign, designed to remove financial barriers preventing bright but disadvantaged students from pursuing higher education.
This initiative ensures that financially disadvantaged but academically promising students have an opportunity to access tertiary education. Additionally, students who score 210 and above in the UTME examination will qualify for a full scholarship to study in any higher institution in Bauchi State, promoting local talent development and economic growth.
One of the sponsored students, Amina Mohammed from Gamawa local government, expressed gratitude, saying the opportunity would help her pursue her dream of studying medicine.
The sponsorship is part of Wunti Al-Khair Foundation’s broader interventions in areas of Education, Healthcare, Economic Empowerment, and Community Developments.
