EmpowerHer Initiative, Empowers Girls with Digital Literacy Skills at Dolphin Maria College

In a bid to bridge the digital gender gap and equip young girls with essential 21st-century skills, the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation through its EmpowerHer initiative, conducted a Digital Literacy Outreach Program at Dolphin Maria College Bauchi on 3rd July, 2025. The initiative aimed at sensitizing female students on the importance of digital skills, online safety, and career opportunities in technology.
The Coordinator of the Program, Miss Fatima Adamu Aliyu, who doubles as the Program Officer of the Foundation, emphasized the foundation’s commitment to empowering girls through education: "In today’s world, digital literacy is not optional—it’s a necessity. By equipping these young women with tech skills, we’re opening doors to future academic and professional success."
In his address to the team, the school’s director, Alh. Alhassan Muhammad, applauded the initiative, stating, "This program aligns with our goal to prepare students for a technology-driven future. We’re grateful to Wunti Al-Khair Foundation for prioritizing our girls’ empowerment." He reiterated that the door of the school is always open to welcome the foundation for every program and activities centred around education.
