AREWA YOUTH LEADERSHIP FORUM HONORS WUNTI AL-KHAIR FOUNDATION WITH "BEST FOUNDATION OF THE YEAR" AWARD

In a prestigious ceremony held at Event Centre, Bauchi, the Arewa Youth Leadership Forum (AYLF) presented the "Best Foundation of the Year" award to Wunti Al-Khair Foundation in recognition of its outstanding contributions to humanitarian services, education, and community development in Northern Nigeria.

The event, attended by prominent youth leaders, government officials, and civil society organizations, celebrated the foundation’s relentless efforts in empowering underprivileged communities through various initiatives, including scholarship programs, healthcare outreach, and poverty alleviation projects.

In his address, Comrade Zayyad Hussaini, the chairman, Central Working Committee of AYLF, praised Wunti Al-Khair Foundation for its dedication to societal transformation. "This award is a testament to the foundation’s unwavering commitment to uplifting the less privileged. Their work aligns with our vision for a prosperous and united Northern Nigeria," he stated.

Accepting the award on behalf of the foundation, the Legal Officer of the foundation, Barr. Umar Magaji, expressed gratitude for the recognition, dedicating the award to the volunteers, staff, and stakeholders who have supported their mission. "This honor motivates us to do more. We remain committed to serving humanity and fostering sustainable development," he said.

The ceremony also featured discussions on youth empowerment and the role of NGOs in national development, with calls for increased collaboration between civil society and government agencies.
