The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation successfully hosted a compelling and insightful webinar titled “Curious Mind: Embracing Continuous Learning” on Thursday 28th August, 2025, featuring Ambassador Kamal Kuku, Founder, REDCAM Technologies. The virtual event attracted a diverse audience of especially students and lifelong learners eager to explore the transformative power of an inquisitive mindset.
Amb. Kuku, drawing from his extensive experience in techno-preneurship and youth development, framed continuous learning not as a luxury, but as an essential strategy for navigating the complexities of the 21st century. He argued that in a world characterized by rapid technological advancement and constant change, the ability to learn, unlearn, and relearn is the most critical skill for personal and professional success.
"Curiosity is the engine of achievement," Amb. Kuku stated. "It is the spark that ignites innovation, fosters empathy by helping us understand different perspectives, and builds the resilience needed to adapt and thrive. A curious mind does not see an ending in a graduation ceremony; it sees a new beginning."
The webinar delved into practical strategies for cultivating a habit of continuous learning. Amb. Kuku emphasized moving beyond formal education to embrace micro-learning—consuming short, informative content—active reading, engaging in thoughtful discourse, and critically analyzing information. He highlighted the importance of intellectual humility, stating, "The first step to learning is admitting what you do not know. True knowledge lies in understanding the vastness of what remains unknown."
A significant portion of the discussion was dedicated to overcoming the common barriers to lifelong learning, such as time constraints, procrastination, and the fear of failure. Amb. Kuku encouraged attendees to reframe their mindset: "View learning not as another item on your to-do list, but as an integral part of your daily life. Start small, be consistent, and allow your curiosity to guide you."
The session concluded with a vibrant question-and-answer segment where Amb. Kuku provided personalized advice to attendees on building their learning journeys, recommending resources, and stressing the role of discipline in nurturing curiosity.
An official of the Wunti Al-Kh Foundation, in her closing remarks, thanked Amb. Kuku for his invaluable contribution. "Today's dialogue has been nothing short of inspirational. The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation is committed to fostering educational growth and intellectual development within our community. This webinar perfectly aligns with our mission to empower individuals with the tools they need to become proactive, knowledgeable, and engaged citizens of the world."
The foundation announced that the recording of the webinar would be made available on its official youtube channel and social media channels for those who were unable to attend live.
