The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation, in collaboration with the She Empowers Initiative, conducted an advocacy visit to Lushi Golollo community aimed at strengthening support for the enrollment of girls into the formal education system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit formed part of ongoing efforts by both organizations to promote girl-child education, community engagement, and increased access to educational opportunities for young girls within underserved communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the engagement, community stakeholders, parents, and local leaders were sensitized on the importance of educating the girl-child and the long-term social and economic benefits of increased female participation in formal education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking during the visit, the Village Head of Lushi Golollo, Alhaji Ismail, expressed appreciation to the organizations for bringing the initiative to the community. He commended their commitment to supporting education and empowering young girls, while assuring the community\u2019s full cooperation toward the success of the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to him, the community would provide all necessary support required to ensure that more girls are enrolled and retained within the formal school system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In their separate remarks, the Foundation\u2019s Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and the Director of Programs highlighted some of WAKF\u2019s flagship interventions focused on education and youth empowerment. These include the EmpowerHer Initiative<\/em>, the Bala Wunti Scholarship Fund<\/em>, and the EduReach Initiative<\/em>, all designed to expand educational access, support academic excellence, and empower vulnerable groups across communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They emphasized that the advocacy visit was not only about school enrollment, but also about building stronger community partnerships capable of sustaining educational development and improving opportunities for girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Foundation\u2019s representatives further appreciated the Village Head and the people of Lushi Golollo for their warm reception, cooperation, and willingness to support initiatives aimed at improving access to education within the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
