The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation has successfully launched another impactful edition of its annual Ramadan Al-Khair<\/em> programme, featuring Ramadan Daura that has drawn widespread attention across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s Daura recorded an overwhelming 20,000 applications from prospective beneficiaries, reflecting the growing trust and demand for the Foundation\u2019s religious and educational interventions. Following a rigorous selection process, 300 students were initially enrolled into the month-long programme. However, in response to the high number of qualified applicants, the Foundation approved an additional 200 students, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ramadan Daura is a structured Islamic learning programme designed to deepen participants\u2019 understanding of the Qur\u2019an during the holy month of Ramadan. Students are carefully grouped into different classes according to their respective Hizb<\/em> levels to ensure effective learning and proper guidance. The programme provides a conducive environment for spiritual growth, discipline, and community engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of its comprehensive support package, the Foundation provides each student with free daily iftar meals throughout the programme. Beneficiaries also receive uniforms, copies of the Qur\u2019an, identification cards, and backpacks to facilitate a smooth and dignified learning experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Special Guest of Honour, Professor Zubairu Abubakar Madaki, commended the Foundation for its sustained humanitarian and socio-economic interventions. He described the Ramadan Al-Khair initiative as a model of impactful community service and urged the Foundation to sustain and even expand its efforts in the years ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other speakers at the event praised the leadership of the Foundation and called for a further increase in the number of beneficiaries, considering the large pool of applicants recorded this year. They noted that the programme has become a beacon of hope for many families seeking structured Islamic education for their children during Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ramadan Al-Khair Daura continues to stand as one of the Foundation\u2019s flagship faith-based initiatives, combining spiritual development with social support, and reinforcing its broader commitment to community upliftment and inclusive development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
